Prior to Dental School, Dr. Greenfield earned his MBA from CUNY Baruch College. He then received his Dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now known as Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Having a strong desire to treat patients surgically, Dr. Greenfield sought Post-Graduate training in Periodontics. He received his Post-Graduate degree in Periodontics from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he acted as Chief Resident in the Department of Post-Graduate Periodontics.
Dr. Greenfield has a strong commitment to education. This led him to continue his career as a Part-Time Clinical Professor in the Periodontal Department at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In 2008, Dr. Greenfield received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Dean of the Dental School in acknowledgement and appreciation for his years of outstanding and dedicated service.
Dr. Greenfield has placed thousands of dental implants, and has received the Implant Innovation Platinum Elite Recognition Award for the past 12 years. Dr. Greenfield has also been voted one of the Best Periodontists in New Jersey by his peers, according to New Jersey Monthly Magazine, every year since 2010 . He has served as President, Vice President and Secretary for the Union County Dental Society, and is currently an active Executive Board Member, and an Alternate Delegate to the New Jersey Dental Association. He was also a past member on the Council of Dental Education, and maintains an affiliation with the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the Union County Dental Society.
My associate, Dr. Ryan Levy earned his DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he distinguished himself amongst his peers by earning the prestigious Division Excellence Award in Periodontics and earning the Lionel Abzug Scholarship in Periodontics. His desire to continue learning caused him to seek training and complete his periodontal residency at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he acted as Chief Periodontal Resident. He has completed additional implant training with American Academy of Implant Dentistry, (AAID) MaxiCourse in Implant dentistry and is Board Qualified by the American Academy of Periodontology.
